Q. How do I make a reservation for Greenbrier Place?
A. You may use our online reservation system by using the accommodations button on the website, or call directly to 336-244-7556, cell, (336)468-6995 to either make a reservation or leave massage as to the best time to return a call to you.

Q. What times are check-in and check-out at Greenbrier Place?
A. Check-in at Greenbrier Place is from 3pm. Check-out is by 12noon. Special exceptions for later or earlier arrivals possible (Please make us aware at time of registration).

Q. How many rooms does the Inn have?
A. At present we have available for your use a total of 19 rooms in two locations Greenbrier Place and 1929 Hemric House. Included in these 19 rooms are common and dining areas, 7 bedrooms, and 5 bathrooms. Both locations have large decks and outside enjoyment, and relaxation areas.

Q. Are pets welcome?
A. Unfortunately at present, Greenbrier Place does not allow pets. (Seeing eye dogs are an exception.)

Q. Are the indoor facilities, accommodations, and bedrooms non-smoking?
A. Yes. All of our indoor facilities, and bedrooms are non-smoking. Smoking areas and cigarette disposal chambers supplied in the outside sitting areas, as well as the lawn area and walking trails. Please smoke responsibly with regard to those who do not smoke.

Q. Are children welcome?
A. Yes, with proper adult supervision, children are welcome. We do not at present offer a childcare service. We proudly serve healthy snacks that are sugar free and healthy for children. Children love learning about essential oils and we always make time to teach about our lovely relaxing and health enhancing oils. Children love learning about the oils. Essential oils are available at Greenbrier Place for purchase. To learn more about essential oils see the available selections and their benefits on the Seminars section of the Greenbrier Place home page. Raindrop Therapy is available at Greenbrier Place for children and adults. It is never too young to learn about our wonderful oils. See Spa on the home page for more information. Essential oils are fun and children love them. We make health fun at Greenbrier Place. Veta Hemric is an aromatologist. Veta Hemric enjoys Sharing the benefits of aromatherapy and essential oils, teaching healthy choices.

Q. Do you offer roll-a-ways or cribs?
A. Due to Federal & State Fire Codes we do not offer roll-a-ways or cribs.

Q. Do you have a handicapped accessible rooms?
A. No…At present we are NOT handicap accessible.. We are in process of designing and creating a handicapped accessible room. The Rose and Thistle meeting room; however, is handicapped accessible and may be used for receptions, parties, various luncheons and small corporate meetings as well as small intimate wedding; up to 25 people, including wedding party and guests.

Q. May I invite additional guests to breakfast?
A. Yes, You are very welcome as guest of Greenbrier Place to invite additional guests for breakfast. There is a fee of $15.00 per additional breakfast guest,. Please allow us to know in advance if you are inviting someone to join you.

Q. Is the Afternoon Tea open to regular guests?
A. Afternoon Tea at 3:00 p.m. for guests of Greenbrier Place is served in the dining area of The Rose and Thistle, or in the courtyard, weather permitting. Additional guests may be invited for an additional fee of 10.00 each. Our tea time may also include our special anti-aging organic crème fruit or carrot juice smoothies. These delicious blackberry and banana, peach, strawberry, or mango fruit smoothies are designed from African Rooibos Tea. Our wonderful organic coffee or coffee beverages may also be requested at this time. Gourmet hot chocolate is also available. Reservations are not required.

Q. What is there to do in the area?
A. Greenbrier Place is a member of three chambers of commerce, Yadkin, Wilkes, and Winston-Salem Chambers. Please click on any of the chamber websites listed for each of them on the Greenbrier Place home page for events of interest in our beautiful area of North Carolina.. Special events and classes including the Hallelujah Acres Diet at Greenbrier Place are listed in the Activities section of the Greenbrier Place home page.

Q. What types of payment do you accept?
A. We accept cash, cheques, MasterCard, Visa, America Express and Discover and PayPal. Click on Lodging on the Greenbrier Place home page for payment options. Travelers Cheques, Money Orders, and certified bank checks are accepted as well.

Q. What is your deposit policy?
A. We request a deposit in the amount of one-half the cost of your entire stay upon booking your stay. You may also prepay the entire amount of your stay in a single transaction at the time of registration with a call to us at 336-244-7556 should you so desire.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. Ten business days cancellation notice is required to receive deposit refund. If cancellation is made less than 10 days before arrival date, you will receive a Gift Certificate for the full deposit amount. Gift Certificates for Greenbrier Place have no expiration date.
